Verse
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Isaiah 43:2
Prayer
God, the waters that surround me obey you and I know that You are with me. I pass through the swirling waters as if through a cool breeze on a hot day. I am strong and my motion is steady because You are with me.
My God, the fire of discord and anger does not touch me, my family or my people on this Earth because you love us and care for us. I am in the furnace but dance to the song of your angelic singers, those angels and saved souls that live in the joy of beholding your face.
What can disturb me? The monsters are small and insignificant before you. You are great and worthy to be praised.
